Chi Rei Kai Karate

Ed started his karate journey in his twenties in the Midlands. After a break from training, he moved to Devon and re-started his karate journey.

He has since achieved Black Belt and in 2022 achieved his 2nd Dan under the watchful eyes of Sensei’s Ash Hawkes 6th Dan, Jay Hawkes 5th Dan and Sall Hawkes 3rd Dan.

He enjoys that karate keeps him fit and challenges him mentally. Ed says; “You’re never too old to learn from others and practicing Karate helps instil a humble spirit.”

Working on his own development, he also teaches regularly at Malborough & Kingsbridge sharing his wealth of experience with students, both young and older.
